History

1976

Split from the wood jointing division of Murakoshi Industry to form Murakoshi MFG. Started full-scale development, manufacture and sale of wood jointing systems.

1978

Established sales office in Canada (Vancouver) to strengthen overseas sales activities. At the same time, established distributers in Canada and America. Entered into sales agreement for Concealed Hinges with Prameta (West Germany) and Salice (Italy).

1980

Entered into technical agreement with Prameta and Salice
Started production of Japanese-made Concealed Hinges

1982

Entered into joint sales/technical agreement with Titus (UK)

1984

Established a factory dedicated to Concealed Hinges in Ichinomiya-cho, Higashi Yatsushiro-gun, Yamanashi

1985

Entered into technical agreement for architectural design and the development/design of machine components with Kairos (Italy). Entered into sales agreement for draw rails with Alfit (Austria).

1986

Completion of Yamanashi Factory Ⅱ

1988

Installed fully automated assembly equipment for MF hinges at Yamanashi Factory

1989

Established Hamamatsu Service Center in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka

1992

Completion of Yamanashi Factory Ⅲ (factory dedicated to die casting)

1993

Established Murakoshi Fine Plating (factory dedicated to surface treatment)
