About exhibitions at the Shinjuku Showroom
Our showrooms are designed to showcase various hardware products that boost the “Satisfaction” of common users who seek living functions and are developed under a “3+” (3 Plus) concept, which comprises these three key elements: “Safe”, “Silent” and “Smooth”.
The Shinjuku Showroom was opened on the 7th floor of the LIVING DESIGN CENTER OZONE in April 2009, whereupon we proceeded with large-scale showroom renovations in 2010, 2013 and August 2017 to showcase updated products at any time.
Our staff overseeing development engineering work in the showroom so that we can incorporate customer needs directly in our product development.
Exhibitions are configured in line with the purpose of use, including folding, sliding and aluminum-frame doors, interlocking hardware series and earthquake-proof latches.
The installations in our exhibition space are very close to real on-site equivalents. Please visit the showroom and check out actual products as benchmarks for your housing planning.
We offer two types of folding doors: for cabinet and interior doors, respectively.
For cabinet doors, we exhibit inset (free type) and outset (fixed type) hardware. Since folding doors have a smaller footprint when opening compared to hinged doors, they allow furniture and desks to be placed unhindered by any opening door. The scope of showcased equipment now also includes soft closers for folding doors.
Within the showroom, experience seamless door movement and simple removing (with workability in mind).
The sliding door is a key component of Japanese interior lifestyles. The showroom showcases numerous examples of installed sliding-door hardware corresponding to various door types, such as sliding and interlocking models, which come complete with a soft-closing function.
Also on offer are many products with regular and new functions, including hinged-door products easily replaceable with sliding doors (outset type) and products that automatically close doors once opened (auto-soft-closers).

This product is a specialized option within the cupboard and kitchen cabinet sector, offering a slimline door just 10 mm thick.
This door opens and closes more smoothly and lightly than any other!
It also includes soft-closing and earthquake-proof features, which prevent the door opening by detecting earthquake shakes instantly as and when they occur.
Interlocking door hardware
Interlocking door hardware applicable for double- or triple-sliding doors.
Doors in sync that open with a single action.
Two types of door fitting are showcased here: bottom load and suspending.
A product we originally developed in 1967 and a game changer when it came to binding wood together.
If furniture uses wood screw for assembly, the member structure is broken, which hampers subsequent efforts to reassemble the furniture. ONIME NUT® lets you repeatedly disassemble/assemble such furniture by embedding in the wood – check out this groundbreaking woodwork industry innovation for yourself!
Earthquake-proof latch fort furniture.
Showcased for hinged and sliding doors.
We prepare a vibration testing machine, which lets you experience how a door leaf is locked and prevented from opening during actual shaking.
